1 qt- warm milk 2 envelopes- yeast 4 tbl- butter
1/2 cup- shortning 1 tsp- salt 5 tbsp- sugar
1/2 cup- sugar 2- eggs 3 tbsp- cinnamon
1/2 cup- raisins 4 cups- flour
Mix milk, shortning, yeast, salt, sugar and flour. Let rise for 1 hour. Add eggs, raisins and some additional flour to stiffen dough. Let rise for another hour. When done rising roll out into three 8" or 9" . Melt butter and add sugar and cinnamon then spread ontop of the dough in each pan. Let rise until it is light/soft then put in oven and bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees (preheated)
6- boneless chops 3- onions
4- apples 1 pint- apple cider
4 tbsp- brown sugar 2 tbsp- mustard
salt pepper
9" x 12" pan
Prepare:
Chop onions into strips and bake in 2 tbsp of vegetable oil until slightly brown, remove cooked onions leaving the oil in the cooking pan. Brown the Pork chops in the same pan ( do not cook).
Know put the chops evenly in the 9x12 pan and spread the onions on top.
Core and slice the apples into strips and spread evenly ontop of chops.
Mix apple cider, brown sugar and mustard together and pour on chops.
Salt and pepper and cover with foil.
Bake at 375 degrees (preheated) for 20-25 minutes until apples are soft.
